The Institute is an independent, non-commercial research body. Correspondence is handled to support accurate citation, responsible use, scholarly engagement, and formal review of licensing and permissions matters.

Research and General Inquiries

The research inbox is monitored for:

  • scholarly and research inquiries

  • questions concerning citation, attribution, and interpretation

  • permissions and licensing requests

  • media and press inquiries

  • notice of potential misuse, misrepresentation, or unauthorized commercial use of Institute materials

Use of Institute Research

The Institute publishes and maintains the official scientific canon associated with its research programs, including:

  • System Existence Theory

  • Physics of Becoming

  • General Theory of Interpretation

  • Meaning System Science

  • Meaning System Engineering

  • Transformation Science

  • Proportionism

  • associated standards, methods, diagnostic protocols, and governance instruments

Institute publications are available open access for personal, academic, and educational use, provided the work is represented accurately and attributed clearly.

Any commercial, fee-based, or proprietary use requires prior written authorization from the Institute. This includes, without limitation:

  • consulting and advisory services

  • coaching

  • training programs

  • certification or credentialing

  • curriculum development

  • enterprise methods or operating frameworks

  • software products, SaaS platforms, or AI systems

  • automated decision tools or governance artifacts

  • derivative commercial materials of any kind

Applicable terms are governed by the Institute’s published policies, including:

Consultants, Advisors, and Practitioners

The Institute supports responsible study and application of its work. To preserve scientific integrity, traceability, and consistent use across environments, the following restrictions apply unless expressly authorized in writing:

  • Institute terminology, frameworks, equations, standards, methods, instruments, and diagnostic protocols may not be used in fee-based consulting, coaching, training, certification, or credentialing.

  • Institute concepts may not be rebranded, reframed, or repackaged as proprietary consulting or commercial models.

  • Institute materials may not be represented as endorsed, affiliated, or licensed where no formal authorization exists.

Internal organizational learning, private study, and non-commercial educational use are permitted when Institute materials are represented faithfully and cited appropriately.

Licensing and Permissions

Requests for review may be submitted through the research inbox for matters including:

  • commercial licensing

  • enterprise implementation requests

  • institutional or organizational training use

  • derivative or affiliated research projects

  • reproduction beyond ordinary academic fair use

  • use of Institute frameworks in AI systems, automated evaluators, or decision-support environments

  • media, publishing, or distribution requests involving Institute materials

Submission of an inquiry does not constitute approval, affiliation, endorsement, or license. Authorization is effective only when issued in formal written form by the Institute.

Reporting Misuse or Misrepresentation

The Institute welcomes notice of potential misuse, misattribution, unauthorized commercialization, or public misrepresentation of Institute work.

Reports should include, where possible:

  • the material or concept at issue

  • the location or context in which it appears

  • the nature of the concern

  • any relevant supporting documentation or links
